National Beta Announces 2025 Scholarship Recipients
Spartanburg, SC – National Beta is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 National Beta Scholarship Program, selected earlier this month.
Each year, National Beta awards over $300,000 in scholarships to outstanding members in the 12th grade. Selection of National Beta Scholarship winners is based on several factors with special emphasis on academic excellence, demonstrated leadership, commendable character, school and community service, as well as National Beta involvement. This year, over 3,500 members, applied for a National Beta scholarship. Following a semifinalist round, 250 students were selected as recipients of a $1,000 award.
Ten students received the top awards:
$20,000 – Macey Chambers of Perryville High School – Perryville, AR
$15,000 – Elier Marquez of Wallace-Rose Hill High School – Teachey, NC
$10,000 – Ben Roach of Chase High School – Forest City, NC
$8,000 – Jack Cole of Pine Crest High School – Ft. Lauderdale, FL
$6,000 – Elizabeth Wang of Northview High School – Johns Creek, GA
$2,500 – Ethan Caruso of Holmes County High School – Bonifay, FL
$2,500 – Mia Green of Richmond Senior High School – Rockingham, NC
$2,500 – Layla Jackson of South Grand Prairie Early College – Grand Prairie, TX
$2,500 – Austin Smith of Tug Valley High School – Williamson, WV
$2,500 – India Young of Marion County High School – Lebanon, KY
“National Beta members are among the top students in their respective schools. We’re thrilled that our program defrays some of the expense of these students’ first year in college and helps bring them closer to the attainment of their goals,” said National Beta CEO, Bobby Hart.
